Escape

Last night Jaelyn made history.  While Jayne’ and I were watching TV downstairs, we thought we has heard her walking around upstairs.  This was after she and Avery were supposed to be in their beds for the night.  After we looked at each other to confirm that we had heard the same thing, I went upstairs to check things out.

When I looked up the stairway I saw that our bedroom door was closed.  “Hmm” I thought to myself, I know that I did not remember the door being closed after we left leaving from putting the kinds in bed.  But as I kept going up the stairs, I heard another noise that different than footsteps.  It turns out that Jaelyn went into our room and was putting a video into the VCR.  She turned on the TV and turned off the light in the room and closed the door shut and began to watch Dora. I knocked on the door, and let just say the ride was over.

Wow! I was not expecting that to happen for a while.  She now has the ability to get up and go.  We are in a new phase.
